Terms of service
Last updated 9 October 2026
In plain words
- Glimby is free to use today. You must be 18 or over.
- What you put in stays yours. We only use it to run the app for you.
- Glimby is a productivity tool, not medical care, and AI suggestions can be wrong.
- Be kind to the service: no abuse, no attacks, no automated scraping.
- If Glimby ever shuts down, you’ll get at least 90 days’ notice and a way to take your data with you.
- Your rights as a consumer where you live always apply.
Who you’re agreeing with
These terms are an agreement between you and Issmail Basel Mokhibi, Private Entrepreneur, who runs Glimby. By creating an account or starting as a guest, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Glimby.
Who can use Glimby
You must be at least 18. Glimby is designed for adults, and particularly adults with ADHD, but anyone over 18 is welcome.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
- A guest account is tied to a cookie in your browser. If you clear it, switch browsers, or don’t open Glimby for 30 days, the guest account can’t be reached and is deleted. Create a free account in Settings to keep everything safe.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.
Your content
Everything you write in Glimby (tasks, notes, reflections and the rest) belongs to you. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run Glimby for you: for example, to show your list, back it up, or send a task to an AI model when you ask for help. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
You can download everything at any time from Settings → Your data. How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
Not medical care
Glimby is a productivity tool. It is not a medical device, and it doesn’t diagnose, treat, cure or prevent ADHD or any other condition. The ideas behind it come from published research, but nothing in Glimby is medical advice, and it doesn’t replace a doctor, therapist or coach. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line straight away.
AI suggestions
Some features use AI to suggest steps or write a weekly letter. AI can be wrong, miss context, or say something that doesn’t fit you. Treat its output as a suggestion: you decide what to keep. AI-written text is labelled in the app. AI features are optional and may have a fair-use daily limit.
Using Glimby fairly
Please don’t:
- break the law with Glimby, or use it to harm anyone;
- try to get into other people’s accounts, test our security without following the disclosure policy, or disrupt the service;
- scrape it, overload it, or work around usage limits with automated tools;
- copy, resell or rebrand Glimby itself.
If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, we may suspend their account. We’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond, unless the law or someone’s safety stops us.
Price and paid plans
Glimby is free today. If we add paid plans, we’ll say clearly what’s included and what it costs before you pay, and the features you use for free today won’t disappear behind a paywall without notice.
Paid plans will be sold through a merchant of record, a payment company that acts as the seller, handles payment, tax and invoices, and has its own terms. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel, which you’ll be able to do any time in Settings; it then runs to the end of the period you paid for. The refund policy explains refunds and, in the EU and UK, your right to withdraw.
Any “lifetime” plan means for as long as Glimby is offered, not for your lifetime or ours.
Changes to Glimby and to these terms
Glimby will keep changing as we learn what helps. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can download your data and delete your account before then.
If we ever decide to shut Glimby down, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice, keep downloads working until the end, and refund any unused prepaid time.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Glimby running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs. Please keep your own copy of anything important.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or that come from things outside our reasonable control. Where the law allows a limit, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem (or 50 euros, if that’s more). None of this limits responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer, including those for faulty digital services, are not affected.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still do so later.
